There sit my keys. On the wrong side of a locked door. Time to call AAA.
EDIT: Let’s take a moment to appreciate the condition of my driver’s seat.

Damn I’ve only done that six or seven times in my life.

I’ve locked my keys in my trunk one time. That’s why I always keep the valet key in my wallet.

I got locked out of my e38 once due to broken locks. Smashed window was the end result.

the one time I locked my keys in my car (back in college) I was saved by the fact that I had recently been rear-ended and my car’s hatch didn’t close completely.

Get a copy made to keep somewhere. I think GM was chipping their keys by that time but a copy made at a hardware store will at least open the door.

Locked my keys in my Supra once. Luckily I had my targa off and just climbed in.
For that reason, to this day, I will only lock/unlock my car with a remote. If my car doesn’t come with it, I’ll add it.

Different key for door and ignition, so like $3 per copy. I need to get that done for sure.

Maybe like duck tape it under the rocker panel or something.
